A Long Weekend in Ibiza

You have decided to get away from the daily routine for a weekend and you are planning your vacation in Ibiza? The excitement of the island and its cultural richness can drown you out with information about things to do or must-sees. Paradisical beaches, restaurants, viewpoints, small streets or little-known islands, here is the list of Ibiza's must-sees to see if you are there for a long weekend.

Sunbathing on the beach of Cala Bassa

Sunbathing on the beach of Cala Bassa

Is going to Ibiza without going to the beach really going to Ibiza? The beach of Cala Bassa is one of the least frequented, but also one of the prettiest on the island. Here you can admire the sunset and enjoy the peace and quiet because, unlike the other beaches, this one is a little less known.
Some people take advantage of the rocks that border the beach to jump into the water, in addition to enjoying the transparent water and fine sand. For the most curious, it is even possible to go diving or snorkeling.
If you are interested in scuba diving, find our selection of the most beautiful diving spots.

Rent a boat for an afternoon

Rent a boat for an afternoon

In Ibiza, renting a boat is very simple and relatively affordable: for a group of 6 people, it will cost you around 50€ without skipper. Several agencies exist on the spot, just bring an ID and you're done.

Having a boat will allow you to discover the "secret" creeks of the island, accessible only by swimming and escape from the tourists for an afternoon. The renting of a boat is thus imperative to discover the island. A chance to be seized at all costs!

Get lost in the streets of Ibiza, the capital city

Get lost in the streets of Ibiza, the capital city

Ibiza, the capital has kept its charm of a small Mediterranean coastal town despite the flow of tourists who arrive every year. It is divided into 4 parts: the Citadella, the historical center (also called Dalt Vila), the port, the suburbs and the beach (where the nightclubs are located). Dalt Vila is clearly the most picturesque and authentic district of the 4, which is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site! Ibiza is an island where culture is of great importance.

Drop an anchor in Formentera

Drop an anchor in Formentera

Little sister of Ibiza, less partying and a little more "natural" and authentic, Formentera is an island accessible by shuttle boat from Ibiza. Depending on the price of the ticket, the boat takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour to make the trip, and departures are organized very regularly. Once on the island, it is advisable to rent a scooter or car to get around. Among the most beautiful beaches, discover Illetes, Cale Saona or Es Pujols.
On the spot, visit the markets frequented by local craftsmen of ceramics, pottery or jewellery. You will be able to bring back authentic souvenirs that differ from those sold in the port.

Partying in the beach clubs

Partying in the beach clubs

Ibiza is above all known for being the island of parties, unmissable discos and world-famous DJs. Why not take advantage of it? Every night, a different adventure: the clubs are full of inventiveness when it comes to the themes of their parties to make you want to go there. As for the club itself, you can choose between Pacha, Ushuaia, Amnesia or Privilege.
Without a doubt, the evening will cost you a lot of money: you have to count between 50 and 100€ on average for an evening, but this one promises to be unforgettable.

Ibiza: the island with many faces

Ibiza: the island with many faces

If Ibiza were to be summed up in one word, that word would certainly be "indefinable". Indeed, the island is at the crossroads between mythical tourist attractions and small picturesque villages that have managed to preserve their authenticity over the years. In addition, many preconceived ideas run on the island.
A weekend on the island will certainly be very exotic for you, whether you prefer the quiet or the powerful bass lines. Note that the South of the island is rather famous for its festive atmosphere while the North is - too little - known for its wild side.
A weekend can almost seem too short to discover this little-known island of a thousand facets!
